Hi, I'm Natalie Rae

I’m a rider, teacher, and photographer — in that order most days.

I grew up in the hunter/jumper world, but these days you’ll find me riding ranch on the rail, working patterns, or running barrels just for the fun of it. I share this life with my partner, Jaydon, who also rides and gets the horse life in all the best ways. Together, we spend most of our time around horses, dogs, dust, and wide-open spaces.

My two horses, Ky and Zach, and our dogs, Harlow and **Stevie, are never far from the lens — or the action. When I’m not in the saddle or behind the camera, I teach a spirited Grade 4/5 class, where patience, presence, and connection matter just as much as they do with animals.

My photography is rooted in relationship — the quiet bond between horse and rider, the unspoken trust, the everyday moments that often go unnoticed. That’s what I love to capture.
